2024 Cetera Connect 2 Peers Investment Conference

Another great investment conference. 3rd one this year. No matter how much I think I already know, always something new to learn. From main platform presentations, breakout sessions, and especially from networking with peers. New ideas or just new ways of looking at old ones. Just something I can't get sitting back home in my office. Worth every dollar and every minute spent!

Opryland Conference Center

Abolutely impressive facility, but so much walking! But - no lines at the elevators experienced at other venues.

Very personable and funny. A surprisingly insightful and motivating session.

Main Platform

Over 2000 in attendance, even arriving early hard to get a seat close to the stage, or bathroom exit! What did we do before large screen monitors!

Last night. Great experience being there with some really good acts, Lauren Alena, John Pardy, Gary Newman and Chapel Heart.

2023 Cetera Investment Conference

Rob and Irene spent 3 days at the 2023 Cetera Investment Conference with 1400 other advisors and 100 client service representatives. Rob attended back-to-back investment sessions as well as practice management workshops learning the latest financial planning software. Irene attended special tract training for support staff. After the early mornings to dinner time trainings, everyone enjoyed entertainment from Wayne Brady and a great concert with Train.

OCTOBER IS ADOPT-A-DOG MONTH

Pearlie was found 5 years ago on the streets after a hurricane. Claudia replied to a Facebook post and there she was when I returned to Florida. Nelson and Miles were also adopted, not by us, but by Pearlie. She has been their "mother" ever since they arrived as puppies, and Pearlie can be seen running all over the farm with the two pugs in pursuit!

Hanging out with High School Besties!

Great time this weekend with old friends and new ones. Great seeing my two high school besties, Gene Gettler and Bob Connolly, all first reunion attendees and first time together since 1974, when I was "preoccupied" getting married. Gotta get our brides of 128 years to the next one!

39 degrees, wind gusts of 35mph, in Lexington and it's showtime! A tad nippy for a Florida gal and her horse!
