I began my educational journey at Briarwood College, earning an Associate in Applied Science and being recognized in Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges. From there, I pursued an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing at Tunxis Community College, explored nursing at Capital Community College, and ultimately completed my college education with an M.Ed. from Cambridge College. Along the way, I earned multiple medical certifications and today hold Connecticut insurance licenses in Life, Health, and Property & Casualty.
My career has been a rewarding journey. I spent 18 years in the medical field and education before transitioning to the insurance industry, where I spent eleven years as a District Sales Coordinator for a Fortune 200 company. After stepping down from management, I continued to bring my experience and passion for client service to my current role as Client Experience Manager with Paragon Financial Group.
Outside of work, I love being outdoors—tending my flower gardens, soaking up the fresh air, or exploring any activity that gets me outside. Giving back is also very important to me. I’ve been proud to volunteer for a variety of non-profits, including serving six years as Connecticut Ambassador for Aflac Children’s Cancer, and supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, and the Hartford Marathon. I live by the belief that “to whom much is given, much will be required,” which guides both my volunteering and my commitment to making a difference whenever I can.
