Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, I was raised by parents who taught me the importance of honesty, hard work, and respect for others, values that remain the cornerstones of my personal and professional life.
As an elected public official, a long-time Rotarian, and a financial consultant, I’ve always believed in using my time and talents to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
My journey in financial services began while I was still in college, and decades later, my passion for helping people achieve their financial goals is stronger than ever. I take pride in building lasting relationships with my clients, relationships built on trust, transparency, and genuine care. Throughout the Years
I divide my time between my offices in Connecticut and Florida, where my wife of 51 years, Claudia, runs a horse training facility in Vero Beach. Our two grown children live nearby, a few towns south of the farm.
Outside of work, I’m a lifelong Christmas enthusiast and have been collecting Santa Claus memorabilia for more than 45 years, displays that can be found year-round in my home and both offices.
During the 36 years I called Colchester, Connecticut home, I was deeply involved in my community, coaching youth sports and serving in several leadership roles, including Chairman of both the Sewer and Water Commission and the Utilities Commission. I was later elected to the Board of Finance, where I served as Chairman from 2011 to 2021.
I began my financial career over 50 years ago as a John Hancock life insurance agent while attending Pratt Institute, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts. Over the years, I’ve held leadership roles across numerous professional organizations, including:

- President, Connecticut Valley Chapter, Financial Planning Association
- President, Connecticut Association of Insurance & Financial Professionals
- President, Connecticut General Agents and Managers Association
- President, Central Connecticut Business and Estate Planning Council
- President, New Haven Association of Insurance & Financial Professionals
- President, Hartford Chapter, American Society of Financial Service Professionals
- Secretary, Meriden Rotary Club (since 1985)
I have contributed to several Connecticut Insurance Department committees and task forces, including the License Examination Review and Continuing Education Committees.
